I find google chrome nice to play quakelive (smooth and doesn't use as much cpu as most of the other internet browsers), however it sometimes is quite a pain to add/accept people to friend list.
I personally just sometimes use firefox to add/accept people, and then go back to google chrome to play :)

there are myriad known friends list bugs. I've been unable to add anyone as friend for weeks, though I haven't tried in the last couple, I suppose. usually they have to add me, or else we go through a rigmarole of adding one another over and over until we finally get lucky.,

I didn't have a problem with it while my friend has so it's seems to be kinda weird though I use a 32 bit os and he 64 so yeah versions are probably it don't know though...
