Having a 9 weeks tournaments with a lot of groups and best possible players and then having a single elimination bo3 LAN tournament totally ruined it. Some players flew to USA to play a 20 min game, lol.

Plus groups were like ~10-9 players and only two players advancing to finals was rather meh. On top of that the production quality of the whole show was awful, very amateurish (compared to DH/MLG/GSL) as for a company which gives a 50k cheque to the winner and has 100k overall prize money in the bag. AND THE FINALS CASTED BY WORST COMMENTATORS YOU COULD CHOOSE (Gretorp is just bad, he's emotionless, InControl is much better but still not Day9/Artosis/Tastless calibre). Schedule was bad, sound issues all the time etc. Even NASL logo looked like a 5 mins photoshop work by total amateur. Hopefully next finals will be much better.

Anna Prosser was hot though.

I agree with the choice of casters thought, iNcontrol was good but like you said no Tastosis or Day[9].

Single games can still take as long as 30-40 minutes.

Not if you have group stage and than de. I don't get why so few players were advancing to the finals of STARLEAGUE. They could do so much more, even if they had only two days for the whole thing. Schedule was bad and there was every few hours between the games which lasted short.

NASL Finals were fun to watch, overal it really had a "cheapy" feeling to it, I will surely not pay for that quality. :/

Fuckin AWESOME grand final!

setup and format kind of random for something with such a long qualification period.

Finals were pretty amazing though, especially the clutch hold in the final game.

nearly the whole tourney sucked, worst amongst the big ones for sure.

BUT it did have a few of the best sc2 matches ever played, a ZvZ basetrade in sen-july. and the finals were clearly awesome it ending up 4-3 where all maps rocked :P

so happy the final aired around midnight in europe and not 5am :>
