Rapha always making the right moves. Quake is effectively dead as a tournament game after quakecon. Why would rapha stick around? His game style and sense is about strategy. Whenever there will be a quakelive competition in the future (if ever again) he can just show up a month before, practice some aim and the maps and be on top again.

In the mean time he should try to do some real life shit, maybe get into a school program or find a job.

To Rapha, Cypher, Cooller and others who work hard and reach professional skill level mostly for the love of this game. No matter what happens later in your life - keep your gritty attitude and never give up!

I went on the SK site last night and looked up his 1 on 1 interview with carmac from 2008 and came away with even more respect for him than I already had, which was a lot to begin with. If he leaves then it's his decision and he can know that he accomplished what he set out to do years ago, become one of if not the best player in Quake live.
