the only reason why I bought an abyssus is that wmo plastic feels very cheap for everyday use.

No complaints about grip and not even about the mouse cord.

I am just buying the damn thing(s). Just curious if there is a difference in build quality or anything between all the different-colored versions out there. I know the white Legends edition is newer, but not sure about any of the others.

I have all three(white, black w/ gray sides, full black(which curiously isn't labeled as 1.1 at all)) and it's all the same perfection.

They finally showed up today. IME was fine, WMO had something rattling around in it and was dying intermittently. I opened up the WMO and a ball of old solder fell out. Took it all apart and couldn't find any failed solder joints or components that had come loose so I put it back together and it works great now.

Can't decide which one I like better. Went with WMO for a few games at first because it felt a little more solid than the IME. Maybe its just mine but the buttons on the intellimouse feel really loose - not like they're going to fall off, they are just really light and have a ton of travel. I like the shape a lot better (although its a little bulky), so I'm going to keep using it. Maybe I'll open it up later and see if there's a way I can tighten up the buttons a little bit.

Its weird, the WMO felt 100x more comfortable until I actually played a couple of games on it. Had my hand cramping up like crazy.

On a separate note, I replaced the mouse feet with mousetape (www.mousetape.com) and this shit is awesome. A fraction the cost of aftermarket feet too.
