There was a one day duel comp last night in Aus that featured top players Ventz, Zlr and Chacha (Python). Some good matches, I'll post some demos later-ish.

We have a lot of pros here in Aus/NZ, who are going to Quake Con.

Dandaking - who is not going this year.

Ventz - but going as his alias MFRazer_Ventz

Zlr - (zealor) probably 4th best in AUS, has his own sponsors

chacha - a once Best player in AUS until Dandaking turned up.

rofl, python would shit all over dan if he cared enough. Python is up there with some pretty damn good players.

doubtful, once u get to a certain age u start to deteriorate, i mean if you even watch his old demos, or any old demos for that instance, the quality of play is not high at all, and if these players stop improving, then they eventually drop off, for instance, if you look at czm, he was better than python at his best, and still 'cared' enough to play at the iem, and got beaten by dan, so i doubt a lesser player in python could beat a newer skilled player such as dan, let alone 'shit all over dan'

imo, ventz is far too passive when playing dandaking. He lets dandaking get away with murder...

On the hub game he had full control, and let dandaking onto the red armor without even attacking him or trying to defend the red armor, which let dandaking back into the game. It would have been better to just +forward, even get outaimed/eat a full rocket, as he had the stack advantage and the red armor would have been waiting for him.

If he plays like that at quakecon, he's going to get rolled over by everyone apart from zlr, bitchito and chaoticz.

Yeah, I've seen one or two demos from Ventz POV and honestly, if he is this defensive when in full control vs Dandaking then I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't move off his spawn points vs Cypher and the like.
