Don't be confused, at least one of them should be mine :) When I tried to check if this script works I just clicked on first post reply (yours) and after a while wrote the comment, which became a reply to yours obviously. Eventually I deleted it :)

do you want me to add this to the page? i haven't looked at the code, but if this insert the post into the tree, that could relieve some pressure from the site for long threads. i have wanted to ajaxify the whole comment tree for a while ago, but maybe baby steps is better.

Something could probably be written where the script POSTs the comment and fakes creating a comment box, but that might get messy. Couldn't really say without looking at the site some more.

yep, 1) click reply inserts post form bellow comment 2) submit posts reply 3) server returns the whole updates comment tree from the post which was replied or message (post deleted, await approval)

Chrome 13 here, clicked on "install link", seems like it installed without a problem. Still it doesn't seem to work. I even restarted the browser - no change.

About greasemonkey in chrome - it seems you don't need it anymore:

Update: Greasemetal development has stopped since the new version of Google Chrome supports user scripts by default.

Chrome's support of user script features found in Scriptish and Greasemonkey isn't complete, so some workarounds are required.

I'll get it working in Chrome tomorrow.

2011-09-12 Switched to Userscripts.org. Added: Chrome support, auto-updating for all, and focusing on the reply box when you click the "Reply" link.

Hmm, something seems to be broke with FF 6.0.2 and GM 0.9.11. No scripts would install, switched to Scriptish and everything is fine.

I've noticed if you initially hit reply to a specific post, then hit reset, it will show it as replying to #0. But it will still post it as a reply to that post instead of #0.

There is a hidden field that doesn't get reset. I'll release an update to fix the problem in a bit.

The comment box visible is smaller than the actual (a word or two I type at the end of the line is hidden). Could this be causing that? Don't remember having this problem before.

I've added this feature to the ESR site code, so you guys should uninstall the userscript... especially since there seems to be some strangeness when both are active :)
