That's a good list, but RE4 and Okami have better versions on the Wii and ICO and SotC are getting an HD re-release on the PS3 (same as GoW1 and 2).

- Yea I play a lot of offline not just because I love and interested in every games, but also because I have UPC internet, so online gaming is a rare gift around here;)

- Thanks for the info about Okami on the WII, luckily I can play WII games on the PC, because sadly, I don't like the real WII controller, it's just the to much input-lag there for me:(
I own a ton of Nintendo hardware and software, I spent so much money on their stuff since the 80's, so I hope they forgive me that I don't waste money on a machine with such a horrible controller, even if it was a great innovation indeed:)

Okami's controls on the Wii make lots of sense and work well, but RE4 is on a whole other level. It was my favourite PS2 game and now that I played it on the Wii there's no way I'd go back to the DualShock for that game.

Any way, all those games are still good on the PS2, it's just that there are superior versions around if you can get your hands on them ;)

Tbh, I only play consol games on the PC nowadays.
It's so much better to play with perfect antialiasing+ asinotropic filtering, and it's all in HD. All my favorite Nintendo and Sony and Sega games just look so hilariously gorgeous what's not possible on the consoles.
I have about a thousand consol games here (or maybe more), but I only use the disks/cartridges to get the images into the PC;)

Just a quick note here about the Wii Remote. I've been playing this one game on a Wii until we decided to change our TV. So from 40" we went to 42" 3D and the remote control lag increased hugely which I believe is because of the resolution. It was very smooth before but now sometimes even the GPU stumbles. I'm going to plug it in into something small to find out if the Wii remote response has increased....

p.s Problem is I play Wii like once a year lol

i tried to squeeze in some B games what may not the best, but worth playing it through. you can list the AAA+ titles like okami, ffx, shadow of the colossus but imo anyone who have a ps2 likely play with these for the first 20 games...
also the survival titles the ones to play on ps2, especially because pc greatly lacking these, playing fps on it after quake is just lol, you can find the renewed sport/racing games every year also... for rpg, maybe id enjoy them more if id be a 15yr old japan-fan girl =)
