Valve is working on the latest iteration of Counter-Strike!
Over the weekend many CS:Source players were invited to the Valve headquarters. Apparently the new CS: Global Operations will replace CS:S's spot!
The gameplay will be closer to CS:S than anything. Some maps the testers have seen include well known dust, aztec, inferno, nuke and train.
Update: Valve officially announced Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.

They gonna fuck it up. Even more than they already did with source. Valve never understood 1.5/6 and they never will.
- There are also a couple of new nades
- There are molotov grenades, which create a fire-blanket that slows players are little
- The other new nade is a decoy-nade, that can play firing-sounds, so it can be used to fake that a player is in a position
Ehhhh ok ...
- Recoil was a bit weird, since it was actually made more random from how I understood it, but since they made it be random in a circle instead of a square it ended up being easier to control. Anyways, they're going to change it, since right now spraying is just the only way to really go about playing the game
Source recoil is a joke. Don't even want to know how the new recoil can be "easier" -.-
You don't invite source players to create a new counterstrike. Biggest failure one can make.
