Update: Division 1 Match between

ek and

xt is going to be streamed today at 14:00 CDT by Level Up TV.

Matchweek 2 is running and Thursday evening is going to be full of TDM action again.

Note: Due to the amount of no-shows for the first match day, and the short notice with which it was announced, all teams were given an extra 4 days to complete their first round matches. This way we managed to get almost all matches played but please read the Scheduling Reminder and make sure to play on time from now on.

big thanks to williebobc who had a lot of work to do to clear the week 1 mess cause i did not have time to do so, hopefully things will go a lot smoother this week

all div 2 matches went 1:1, wow

btw if there are any other streamers, just drop a comment and i will add a link to the news, all coverage is welcome
(during the signups zilich mentioned that the russians wanted to stream aswell, but doesnt seem like they are interested anymore now that m5 does not participate ;) )

wasnt meant too seriously but actually those kind of matches stop people from playing pickup so rather :( than :D

the rules state "Two best players are nominated to be captains."
but you could also just shuffle, or try to make teams fair by switching players once you see that its obv going to be rape

yeah it seems dick'ish but in that particular game i was tired of the pickup even before it began, i was hoping they'd abort 2 minutes in.

should've been me vs kaide or abso i guess, but if nobody goes captain against me, there aint much to do. no matter what the rules say :)

but yes, it blows.

Its a shame games like this keep happening :-(

Two best players on server is the way to go but getting said players to do this is a different story, its in the rules so i guess its time to get the ban hammer out. Certain players/teams see it more as an excuse to screw the teams up to play together.

I personally cannot stand more than 2 games per week any longer due to the state of the how the games go, mostly down to stupid teams and the way its played. Its safer to !who when its 3/4 full and try get a game with a few decent players added.

Oh and don't expect Kaidie to cap, he is one of the prime culprits in pickup for trying to get on the better team, you will see why if you ever play against him ;-)

abso & kaide got 1 hour ban, since rindo notified admins about this.. funny thing is that the server host used readyall command to force rindo ready because he was arguing about unfair teams and asking admins to help him

yeah.. pickups are sometimes really annoying

Yeah i remember the conversation on irc, the pickup lamers just want a perm ban imo.

Abso probably gets sick of being on the losing team so fancied a change, someone really needs to point him in the direction of powerups and useful items during said matches :-)
