Considering it is FFA with a lower chance of a win, he has a huge number of wins.

not sure what you mean. are you implying FFA is harder to win at than, say, duel? because it isn't. if you have 10 top level players in FFA, then yes, but FFA servers are typically populated with bad players. anyone competent at Q3/QL duel will devastate FFA pubs.

btw Yakumo played some CTF pickups and he got raped :)

Yeah well thats not his bag, I can see why, Pickups are for dedicted CTF'ers and he is not one of them.

it's a bit like when Strenx went to play TDM, thats not his bag either, some individual brialliance, but no TP whatsever, or map knowledge.

Think the map knowledge is a big thing tbh, especially in CTF. Certain places nubs would stand where you know defo not to be.

Yak knows the FFa maps inside out, and tbh he does still play quite well v reasonable players.

With 12 + years experience of quake behind him i wouldnt be surprised he has so many wins, beating fresh out of the box newbs who still can't strafe must be really rewarding ;-)

Shame he cries like a bitch about a 5ms ping advantage when he gets beat by someone you can call a decent opponent.

I agree it is all about researching your opponents before joining a server, which I shohld do more of.. I get smashed all the time in duel atm v lower ping and better skilled players.. I need a n00b hunter program :P

also what is with people learning one duel map and thats it. ZTN, really? theres a plethora of great maps to choose from, stop raging from duels. the only duels i get anymore are obvious botters/wallhackers and people that are 1 map newbs that train 500 hours on ZTN and refuse to play anything else. late night playing sux :/

Yes i have ability play a lot because i am my own BOSS and work out of home office so don't HATE on a player. I am sure other people play a lot across multiple accounts

And yes i like ztn but hardly 1 map dueler..according to ql stats i play a different map 40 percent of the time...lot of times its other players who wont play nothing but ztn and i oblige

And finally im not pro though i have beat plenty of them here and there online and on lan because im an decrepit old man and after a while the games are just fluff..not really learning anything..just about execution
