Not necessarily. Even if some of the action in those vids was filling time, I feel it helped the overall picture/context. Usually when short videos (30s-1min) are used to show "cheats", people dismiss them pretty quickly and say "it's not enough, it doesn't show anything etc". To me, it just shows they didn't take the whole thing lightly and tried their best in exposing the cheater.

Not to mention that nobody should give a fuck about video editing in a cheater-busting video.

Whereas I see another grouping of clips which all need to be looked at in case a few might actually be proof. If they took their work seriously they'd remove clips which prove nothing.

The logical way to do it is to aim always at the opening of the doorway, in case an enemy pops out of there. If you're looking at the wall while an enemy passes through there, you have to make a quick long movement to the right to adjust your aim.

Your argument is really empty if you consider that quake isn't an FPS where your enemies don't move at all. You just made it sound like there is more likely an enemy standing there rather than strafing accross the doorway... I mean, it's not that hard to understand is it ?

For the best prediction shots to come, your crosshair should always be aiming at the very opening of each corner. Looking at a wall like that only really works if you're camping and are looking for peak shots.

I think he has a point.. it's instagib after all, 1st shot is what matters the most. To me it looks like he's going high speed and wants to make sure he will land the 1st shot behind that corner. Say, if he was sneaking, tracking the corner would be more logical ofcourse. On top of that, he fires the rail too late and even misses it. More fishy to me would be the 0:25ish of that Ironworks.

When someone uses wallhack can see enemy behind walls and react faster than feeder does on this video,he takes ages to shoot when enemy shows up.

the last shot in ironworks, he trails the guy (or SEEMS like it) but the enemy rails first as they both come out of corner, and the guy 'hacking' then misses. and another one where he's under the flag, trails the guy, then fudges the shot when enemy is visible.

not sure why he would miss if he had him spot on xhair through the wall.

All of you who say this is clean, speed it up, etc etc. I watched this demos in normal scale several times and it still doesn't prove how he in all of those situations 100% lock on enemies through walls even if it's for 0.5 sec, especially when enemy is 500m away through two walls, like in courtyard. Or that situation at 1:34 on ironworks. I mean, I played that map so many times and I still don't make such weird angles and especially not weird angle with 150% lock on enemy behind the wall.

And in most cases, players who defend him are either his friends or one of them who use this wh in their own game.

timescale 0.00001 doesn't count, even less so when he doesn't shoot them as they reappear (like in that first clip of courtyard).

He used it smartly, sees where enemy goes, says via ts to his team mates where to expect enemy and that's it. It's clearly that he tracked enemy through walls on Courtyard and other maps, but why shoot and blow his cheat usage? Sometimes also because of his fast movement his misses enemy although his sawed him through wall and locked on him. Quake is pretty fast game if you didn't know. ;)

Actually it is not but w/e. Fishy would be if he never ever aims on an enemy model and still does always the right choices. The problem is that an experienced wh user doesn't make any mistakes (aiming threw the wall) which in the end is their mistake. I guess it is harder to proof wh in quake as in cs but due to the speed of the game players should do more mistakes/decisions and therefore you'll sooner or later bust the guy.

Only Courtyard looked strange, but it couldn't be WH because even if you see your enemy are you tracking his moves with your rail or rather point your crosshair in place where he will be in a quarter or half of second? No one tracks enemy model while having rail because it's much harder to hit like that assuming mouse click and slug's delay.

I mean heck the 1st one of the 1st vid you can even see the guy before he gets behind the wall.. The tracking you see there is just him being lazy and pre-aiming towards the pillar although I usualy aim just to the left or right of the pillar ;)

and btw might I add that for the opponent team to do this publicly shows very little respect. If you think someone cheats then first contact the admin let a select nr of ppl see your 'proof' and if everyone agrees... then you might put it up on esr....
