Still got some weird spikes in lagometer but much less often I think. So hopefully it will help.

You can disable it in the service manager and it will never come back (unless you actually need it to connect to the network)

On XP it should be pretty easy to disable the wireless zero service, best thing to do is to use the drivers of your wireless card and prevent Windows from managing the wifi altogether.

That always worked for me on XP and I never had the slightest spike at home using wireless.

But this only fixes the network scanning lag spike that happens every minute or so (the delay can be different).

If you warp constantly or w/e it's something else.

Usually i can play 1 match or 2 then it started warping like mad

Trust me im on Wireless to just forget about quake for awhile

Forget about wireless for gaming, it has very unstable latency with high jitter. Wired connection is 1000x better
