i think some would... sadly and several have already been caught cheating with premium accounts.

They probably would lol but they have paid,read the t&c's,cheated and got banned which is better than the current system because the cheats now don't contribute anything to the game in anyway.

There will always be cheaters only a fool would think otherwise but the prem sub cheaters currently are doing it for diffrent reasons than these idiots that just make an account to piss people/customers off.

I've tried to come up with a solution, but sadly, unless a serious attempt is made to stop the spread of cheats that has dessimated the playerbase since march, then no option but closure makes sense as the affect of not doing anything would keep many people from entertainng the thought of getting involved with another id game, one such as rage or doom 4.

Cheats are readily available and it's to easy to gain access to the game.
Slumming is to easy to do with accounts being free.

I think ID need to seriously consider their next move with QLive,my suggestion for what it's worth,which is probably fuck all,is to set a price structure currently lower than present to encourage prem subs and still offer pro subs for those who want the extra features like server spawning which is essentila for clans to exist.Alot more people paying less is better than the few paying more surely?ID's problem is getting the figures right to maintain anything that would be worth subscribing to in the first place.To high noone subs,to low and they loose money.

- imo all maps should be free
- duel and tdm subscription only (noobs can test and enjoy the game in ffa, ca and ctf, as they already do)
- lower the subs and give the option of buying a 2nd sub for half the money (to give to a friend or for having a 2nd account)
- give lan servers to pro subs or create gold subs just for that

the benefits will be many, but I won’t bother explaining them, since I already gave enough time to a pointless post.

I get what you are trying to do but esr has never needed this kinda moderation, the troll threads and flaming is an integral part of the character of this site.
