@Spyyder - yea that happened just during the last min of reg play(and one time in OT); instead of seeking out health, looked like he was just running an avoidance route.
Overall pretty decent movement(few missed rj's&stair jumps) with a well-deserved win considering Swamp's near domination of armor/mega.
lol@Undertaker's whine at the end. Yea "wow" you lost.
Well it happened 3 times. First time 30 secs to go with 1 frag lead, 60hp and he passes the same 25 twice and runs into a fight, 20 secs into OT, and at the very end he leaves the YA 25 up then just camps by the tele with 60hp with 1 frag up. They weren't really sudden danger situations where he couldn't spare the 1-2 seconds and it could've kept it from going over time. I just kinda wince at those situations, and I do the same when seeing ppl pass by weapons and ammo when they need it.
Didn't mean to disappoint you guys at the end of the game lol... Had a decisive start and dominated the map, idk may of just been nerves as the game progressed. The guy was definitely one of the better players in the tournament so.
wow! ad hominem much? you basically just called him a few names and dressed up your ad hominems as an "argument."
[-]played like a 13 year old i think av3k, cooller and (dare i say) burnedd were around 13-14yrs old and playing pretty well.
[-] hopefully this tournament will pump out some good matches... look at scores on second map of final rapha v. whaz -- 16 to 11; wouldn't call that a blowout.
sigh. not sure when ad hominems replaced thought-out arguments for or against; blame schools?
argument? it was a comment, my opinion. im surprised whaz did that well against rapha, but it doesn't make 13 year olds playing quake any less distasteful. i could give a fuck what age you are until you start mouthing off. if undertaker12 wanted to really get good he would learn to shut his fucking mouth and take his licks with his game and keep walking, thats how you advance, not by back-talking everyone who is better than you.
whatevs though, clearly i struck a nerve, you're probably a young player yourself so take what i said as advice and move on buddy, nothing left to see here.
agreed about undertaker and the path to improve...the "nerve" you speak of is my pursuit of ad hominems and how they do absolutely nothing but bash and are non-informative. Kind of non-sequitors really (e.g., "Do you think Chelsea played well? Well there's a full moon tomorrow night.")
Really, 13 yr olds? pre-teen bieber? Non-sequitor, meaningless opinion.
Better: "He played very impatiently, almost like he was behind by a lot of frags. Probably some 13yr old with no patience."
p.s. I'm actually 42 and used to play a ton of q2 :) Just enjoy watching/evaluating quake-based demos when I get the opportunity.
