You absolutely must run it at 1000hz?

I have had problems with mouse1/2 not registering or getting stuck on when using 1000hz with a WMO. 500hz feels the same to me, and I have had no problems like that whatsoever. 250hz is enough to get the maximum performance out of the sensor due to the small 8-bit buffer on board.

Also, it depends on what OS your running. For windows 7/Vista, I use this and it works perfectly:

For XP, there are many variants about; just as long as you get a stable maximum hz on a rate checker, your sorted :)

500hz with hidusbf is how I've always done it, I also use the link something gave you for win7 and it works fine.

I still use XP. Thanks for the replys. I suppose it's not essential to run 1000hz, thats just whatI've been using for a few years now with my abyssus and my current kinzuadder 3G.

Also, what's best as regards drivers? And what's the easiest way to convert the sens from the 3G deathadder at 450dpi to the IMO? thanks
