I think he wanted to catch him coming up the jumppad if he had spawned at lg. Or it was a brainfart :D

I watched it slightly longer and I guess it was a brainfart indeed, concluding from the time he spent on waiting for MH next time. But seriously, how stupid is that?

The disrespect shown on the first map before the time extension was just pathetic.
Lots of weird weapon choices and decisions for certain scenarios and general lack of skill. @1:40 on ztn probably the best example of a situation handled in the worst possible way.

I haven't followed the scene closely of late, but I got interested seeing as this was labeled a "Final with 3 entertaining games", but to me it just looked like two good players just faffing around, or two mid-tier players that would get creamed by any top dueler out there.

walter I know its hard to not give a shit but when on esr you sometimes have to not give a shit. People always know better. i want to have sex with your movement. now you can give a shit.

What is it about the movement u like? Is it just really smooth? (not watched yet). N how is it that some people have this extra smooth movement over others? What is the trick to it or technique if someone wanted to try to improve their movement? or is it settings/computer based?

His good movement can be traced back to the fact that he played defrag in q3 which is 'movement mod', if you will. Surely, some people have better movements than others e.g. compare cyphers movement with spartie. Cypher is definitely a lot quicker around the map than spartie is as he cuts or 'clips' more corners etc.

With him it has not really to do with smoothness but more the accurateness and the planned out jumps that he does. He knows exactly how many jumps he needs to get from a to b thus hardly failing his movements.

The technique here is not only practise but also knowing what the QL physic is capable of. I think t7 is really good if you want to practise movement because they are a lot of corners you can cut which enable you to get really quick to some places.

It has nothing to do with settings although ultimately some people might argue that

- sens
- fov
- fps

influences your movement. High fov promotes better movement (some say) - it is really up to preference. I used to play with fov 100 since 2009 in QL, now i changed to fov 90 and my movement is the same if not better.

sens... the higher your sens the easier it is to turn/move around quickly and adjust your movement. but strenx also has good movement because he got used to his sens etc. but then again strenx often does not take angles that cypher would take.

fps... well, you should have 125 fps ;) and a proper config. i suppose high gfx config does not really work that well because there is too much distracting stuff. generally, the less textures a map has, the slower it appears to be. real life example maybe: drive a car through the woods or drive it through the desert. if you go 70 miles per hour, which scenario appears faster? exactly, the former.

Watched bf and ztn games. You played too careless, jumping around and hitting stuff, only sometimes timing items or doing it by an order (red was taken -> then mega). You just knew you were better. Still your movement looks very sexy, a real joy to watch. Apart from that there wasn't any challenge for you, sorry stywoo.

No offense to Stywo0 who I've sung praises about before -- every match looked like Walter's to lose and never Stywo0's to win.
Like Storm said, walter did lots of unhelpful things on his way to win. Walter you play like an entertainer and not a competitor most of the time, just doing enough to win but more to dazzle.

But why would I as a spectator complain about that? :)

Things has changed so much now, that I can't even view all the demos. :(

I like this "grain de folie" and moves in walter games. I want more...no more :)
