Hey everyone, so I took into consideration the input you guys gave me on the Rapha analysis. I got some help from someone (did not want to be mentioned),, we discussed ZTN spawmpoints and such and ended up with this video. I think it is much more in depth.
I mean that, not many people can can hold their own against pros. Very few. However, that does not mean I wont analyze games where they take unorthodox approaches on their starts.
always go straight to SG when you get upper RL (don't wait to look for the enemy) spawn. you have to be fast to beat a good player to RA; if they spawn RL you will know and can catch them at plasma jump pad wth 110 damage SG (additionally, a good player will be able to dodge your rail attempt and you will die from LG before getting a second shot off, almost certainly; you won't die instantly if you miss a little bit of SG). otherwise, free yellow. if they spawn at plasma and go for RA, they die. if they spawn at plasma and go for YA, you get full map control.
it's also risky to go for the SG @ jump pad if you aren't confident in your aim (shitty ping/netcode/lag), so you can also just get RA, RL, and rail, and have a huge weapon + position advantage.
additionally, when you are playing good players, it is not good enough simply to wait and then rush off spawn. you will probably get baited. even if you get a half-step on the guy who spawned LG and take mega, you are going to die to anyone who can LG decently; if you are on LAN or have really good MG, you can possibly hurt him significantly and equalize the map, though, but not likely, since he will get RA and two 25s if he's properly quick (you could spawn RL and defend if you are really fast [maybe rocket jump], MG from grenades, or rail [but you will probably die from this spawn]).
this video is pretty awesome, but to bad ztn have been played over 9000 times so most likely a lot of players know what they need to do after the first spawn at this map.
would be good, if you will make the same vids about tactical maps like dm13, t7, dismemberment and so on.
Let's put some logic into it:
If you spawn at SGC, then according to this chart you have 47.2% chance that an opponent spawned at LG.
Other way round, however, if you spawn at LG, you have only 4.2% chance that your enemy is now at LG.
Do we have two alternative universes to fulfil both conditions?
I don't think this necessarily takes away the crediblity of this chart.
P(A | B) and P(B | A) aren't the same thing.
Does anyone know how exactly the starting spawn system works?
It's not impossible that the system chooses B as a fitting spawn when the other player has already been chosen to spawn at A; however when he has been chosen to spawn at B, there are other spawns much more fitting than A.
Maybe, when he did the testing, he was the 'first' person to spawn and his opponent was the 'second' one to spawn?
Good to know you shat brix at my video. Sorry, I have no videos that will tell you how to clean up after yourself. :/ Looks like you're going to have to sit in your own poo.
