Italian MotoGP rider died today at Sepang, Malaysia. Pretty horrible crash, sliding off and being hit by 2 other riders with his helmet being knocked off too.

As it seems he may have slipped or lost balance when leaning in the turn, couldn't get up as he was sliding on his right side, and was then hit by two trailing racers. Helmet knocked off, neck probably broken to an extent beyond any sort of repair instantly.
I'm sure any of us motorsports fans will relax at the thought that he didn't feel a single goddamn thing when he got hit. It was all black and numb from then on, so it's a safe bet to say that it's better that way.
Although it is sad to see or hear about any human being die, what better way to die than when doing something you absolutely love?
Same goes for Dan Wheldon, two-time Indy 500 champ, who died on the track aswell not 5 days ago.
I don't want to get too much into details on the video of it, as it sounds so grimy, but, thing is that he didn't move a muscle by his own will, not even an inch, after the hit. He was unconscious and you can be sure of that. The guy barely felt pain, and I'm sure the experts eventually will verify this, most likely in an attempt to put the family's fears to rest.
Lets just hope a minimum of these fatal crashes happen in the future.
