As far as i know its the same Avago ADNS-S2020 sensor which is used in original G1 just an updated version, like it was done with mx518 from 1600 to 1800dpi. So i guess apart from dpi all characteristics such as level of prediction are the same. I would suggest to look at g100 which has same shape but no prediction at all.

I really hope thats the case.The old sensor of the orginal G1 was fine as far as i remember. I used to prefer mx300 level of prediction tho. The reason i even switched to an other mouse, was the fact my aiming felt alot better going from 800 to 1000 DPI. Also my gaming resolution increased etc. Not to forget i was always kinda highens. (10 - 14cm/360°). The G3 wasn't really a replacement due its low malfunction speed. About ur suggestion looking for the G100, maybe u want to read the Logitech G100 thread and read what i think about this "mouse". Or just check my last post fallowing my profile. thanks for ur reply anyway.

btw, I already ordered 2 versions from korea 3 days ago.

One from which i hope is the one which comes with the logitech G1 keyboard combo. And an other one with a "HP" emblem on it.
