dm13 is even worse than ztn im terms of boringness. (personal preference, dont get me wrong)

i just like aero, t7, tox... everything else i hardly ever play ;7 I still have most games played on ztn though because when I started duelling I practiced it to get my timing back.

I played agent on dm13 and trust me vs the right opponent it's not boring at all. Ask dksl if he wants to play you and you'll see that you can play it quick too.


Occasionally I play dm13 and yeah it might take some time (~5 min) till someone joins but it is way harder to find someone for hektik and bf. At least you can expect decent people on those maps :x

i know dm13 is a smart map and probably still among the best and most balanced at times but each their own (: i think it does not suit ql too well tbh.

Same for ztn. Far better in quake 3.

lack of premium kinda cuts me off a lot of maps :-)

a lot of people with prem/pro play on reguöar servers, you shgould just ask people you played and had a close game with if they have prem/pro and want to play more often, shouldnt take more than a week or two to get a friendlist of active duelers. or ask on irc

stop bitching just sit in a server for a long time. In America I usually have to just sit and wait 5-10 minutes for a Furious Heights game. 10-15 minutes for a Hektik game. And last time I played 45 minutes! No joke! For a tox game. Aerowalk takes less than two. Ztn takes less than two. Dm13 takes 5 minutes. And dm6 takes three minutes or so. It's not so bad, just dont quit, sit, and wait patiently, watch some TV, no TV browse the net but keep ur quake sounds and listen for a guy shooting u durring warm up just be sure not to F3 and realize ur behind ten frags

I havent seen a server with dm6 in duel for ages.

I like ztn, but try to avoid it anyway. Im good enough at it, and shit at all other maps :p

sit around in a ztn server, stand by with this: /callvote map lalala whatever you want, and at the very moment when the guy appears to connect vote it, and he'll join when your map is loaded, was it really necessary for someone to write it down?:D

Never noticed that at all, usually I get an opponent in about a couple of minutes on dm13 (on Moscow servers). Yeah, some of them callvote ztn and then disconnect, but most of them stay and play.

I hear you bro. Exactly why I've played so much ztn because no one else will play anything different. I once callvoted t4 and I think my opponent went pale haha.
