When I played the Beta and tried RivaTuner with LOD Bias Adjustment it didn't made any effect on the game. I take it because of the engine and not outdated version of RivaTuner ( I still use older drivers because of my CRT ). Anyway in theory it should have ended looking something like this.
Battlefield 3 isn't as fun as people make it out to be. More of a hype booster. But I'm sure RayTheNoob will be here to challenge my logic any moment. The best thing I would suggest is to wait for a config tool like they released for Crysis 2, which made hell of a difference to the gameplay.
Really? Really? Okay... the game is set in realistic environments with the intent for parts of those environments, such as foliage, to be a part of the gameplay, not to be removed by a minority of players seeking advantages over their opponents. I'm honestly amazed you'd need that explained.
You're partly right, i didn't notice that the foliage and other stuff has been removed (or rather made transparent, from the looks of it), that in itself is borderline wallhacking. I wrote that under the assumption you were talking about making the graphics extremely simplistic to improve the visibility.
