When Dis and Vor joined the mamut - planb match the teams constantly timed out and told vor to leave the server because they didn't wanna have him spec the match.
The most funny thing is, Plan B shared their demos of that match to prove they didnt cheat.
But vor is too pro, he said smth like "you shared virus, not demos". He just cant accept the fact that some unknown russians won a map vs his team, thats all. So nothing strange they didnt want to see him on server.
But the root of all this is the that the teams are butthurt about remarks that vor said comentating games, some time ago.
Obviously they didn't kick vor supposedly in case they got caught cheating because Disrepute was still "allowed" to stay on the server, it was all because of butthurtedness.
Any remarks vor made afterwards like "yeah they obviously don't want us to see their hacks" are not to be taken seriously... he was just taking the piss.
why has cs more than 5 community made anti cheat programs but ql has none? It's about time, this online cheating in ql is really getting out of control.
Who says they don't work? If you want a successful example take a look at ESL Wire. Ofc you are never 100 % sure. But if the hacks get public, Wire will be updated and sooner or later the cheater will be caught. I asure you have a hard time finding a Wire-proof hack.
It's not easy as that. Wire is not community made. It's developed by the ESL and therefor it can only be used in their league.
Free anti-cheat solutions which are under constant development I know are UAC and TZAC , they already support many mutliplayer games in various leagues and could be easily adjusted for ql, too.
Why there are so many I can't tell you. It's maybe the same question as. Why is there ist q3, cpma, edawn, warsow, etc when we have ql?
Then I can hardly see how the situation in cs is better than in ql. Reading hltv from time to time it's clear there is at least as much cheating paranoia in competitions as in quake live. If anything the anti cheats add a faulty sense of security, considering many people still get busted by videos just like in quake live.
And since the 'good' anti cheats can't be used on publics I imagine they are just as cheat infected as they were when I was playing cs a few years ago.
As I said u never can be a 100 % secure. But one thing I can tell you. I feel a lot safer playing CS with Wire and protected servers than playing QL without any form of anti-cheat, where the first google hit for "ql hack" gives you a direct download link to a hack which includes all feature u would ever want. And it works flawlessly in public aswell as in leagues.
they did say that disrepute is allowed to stream, but what was confusing to me that they were still kicking vor off the server when Promenator and Perpetual_war (the admins) joined the server.. After all its 250€ and headphones :)
My opinion about mamut players shall remain untold however I do want to see the vod and chatlog of this. Bringers of vods, demos or chatlogs, please, reveal yourselves.
No one has proof of any foul play, however many people are suspicious, thus I am currently not interested in sharing my personal opinion about mamut :-D
The real paradox begins when people start accusing people of cheating, when they're playing tournaments. What are the odds that they are so stupid, IF they actually ARE cheating, that they'd continue using it for the duration of the tournament? They'd just make themselves even more suspicious 8]
So anyway, opinion on mamut is to remain untold 8]
