Heyo, maybe I'm a a tard but I can't find a way to search the forums so sorry if this has been asked recently.
I've been thinking about buying a HDTV to use both as a TV (big surprise), and a monitor for my PC. I'm really not too picky with monitors, I have a cheap 60 Hz LCD monitor right now that does the job just fine for me, but I'd hate to have a TV with noticable input delay or anything of that sort.
I really know nothing about TVs, so how would a LCD TV stack up against a rather cheap LCD monitor? As said, I'm really not too picky, but if anyone has any tips or pointers that would be great. Any recommendations about what I'd look for would be nice, or if it's absolutely pointless to play fast paced fps on a TV screen, let me know.
EDIT: Also, I have a Radeon HD6950 2GB with the following outputs (copy + pasted right from the specifications) if it matters:
1 x Dual-Link DVI
1 x HDMI 1.4a
2 x Mini-DisplayPort
1 x Single-Link DVI-D
DisplayPort 1.2
Cheers
