Hi. It's great you want to expose cheaters, however this will do nothing about the cheater situation. Go for pickup players and keep ESR entertained for a while. You'll be able to do that much since there are many of them.

The video was strangely easy to watch considering I can't stand the contant witch hunting but if I were to toss my 2cents in, I'd say those mouse movements aren't that weird :
The little tracking/flick between the rockets at the beggining isn't particularly weird ( and if it is you don't want to watch my demos, really ) and the ticking when he has rl out at the end just looks like your random ca retard playing with sens 9001.

i've suspected this guy for a bit now. While the video does show some viable evidence, it's not
concrete enough to be certain. But we will now see if he ends up on top of scoreboards with this development.

You're implying a difference can be made outside of id software? There is no anti-cheat. Turn in demos and nothing is done. On the off chance they do ban someone, it's easily avoided with a dynamic ip and new account. They also make it a point not to ban premium or pro players that violate any rules. It's really a futile effort until id does something. Quake Live and optimism are antonyms.

To play devil's advocate I would say that the decent/good players who unfortunately cheat and can hide it very well, are for the most part the same type of people that want to be looked at as amazing, or have some sort of reputation built.

If doing this can crush everything they have worked for and that image, that alone might turn away future would-be cheaters.

Is it really? The end result of any ban is either a new account, or quitting the game entirely. One of these made the time spent worthless, and the other only helped to make the game a little smaller. Time spent trying to catch cheaters is time that could have been spent playing.

well you're kind right. i been hacking for almost 4 years and haven't been banned. my pro from last year ran out so i have to play it careful and not lg over 30 percent now but aside from that it's ok.

Well, when they get banned they can create an alias and rejoin--so perhaps just highlight the cheaters so they don't create an alias so people know who they are vs the fail bans that id does. Almost everyone who gets banned by id plays the very same day.

He certainly won't be banned based on this video.

It's amazing that someone can put this video together, watch it, then say to themselves, "Yep, this is sufficient evidence that this guy is hacking. I took three clips that are not very suspicious at all from a single match and put them on Youtube."

Casual != flicking directly at them as soon as the wallhack allows you to see them.

This is a good thing you've done here, but i don't think it's enough to outright ban the guy. Needs at least a couple more blatant situations. Like you said, it's the frequency and consistency of those weird little situations and reactions that stack up to being enough for warranting a ban.

I honestly dont think this is good enough evidence to have him banned, and I dont think blackiechan cheats. I played cod1 and cod2 with blackiechan, him playing under the name sanzen, we were both CAL-I multiple seasons in cod1 as well as cevo-p for cod2. The guy has some pro level and legitimate fps experience, and doesn't hack. Although Skylar I do like the production quality of the video and would like to see more

Wall hack use is probably the easiest of the hacks to identify since players using wallhacks often track enemy models through walls and floors using the crosshairs. Wolfcamql with /cg_wh 1 is one of the better demo tools for observing this activity and provides all players the ability to verify if a player has a wall hack without resorting to actually using a wall hack.

All the posts do not refer to the actual demo file which does show many instances of crosshair tracking of opponents behind walls and floors. A rebuttal of the post should involve demos of said player with no instances of wall hacking yet putting up the same statistics against the same caliber players. If Titan has presented a negative demo and video analysis contrary to your point of view, surely a positive game demo of the same player would be an appropriate rebuttal instead of hearsay, denial, innuendo, bravado and name calling.

I would suggest that those using wall hacks already will know which other players use wall hacks since it does not take long when spectating another player to determine wall hack use if you yourself are using one. It takes a wall hacker to know a wall hacker or alternatively you can use wolfcamql with /cg_wh 1!!!!
