the point of it was to rank ql players...it was far more useful than anything you and your cheating friends have ever done for the ql community (exposed forums, pirated ql servers, etc etc)

I don't really frequent ESR, sorry. I shut the site down temporarily because it was taking up a lot of resources. It will be up again in a few hours.

Also, the domain "meili.ws" is the main domain of my server machine. It redirects there when the site is down. Sorry for the confusion, I will handle situations like this better next time.

it could have actually been expired and auto-registered by domainsbyproxy (a sister company of godaddy in charge of auto-registering 'popular' domains and reselling them at premium prices) although the reg/expiry dates don't really add up to this scenario

the DNS server went down the other day; it's clearly a virtual host (both NS records, the meili website, and the QLRanks page use the same IP address), and if he's switched to a new webserver or changed the configuration, this would naturally result.

As far as I've seen it is a pretty useless tool. The ranking chances are pretty random and the system misses at least 50% of the matches played.

At the moment one could say I just tolerate it, prehaps like a little.

As far as I know it misses zero matches, just takes days before the crawler get trough each player automaticly. If you want a fast update you need to do it in the irc channel.

it doesn't count premium matches on CA it seems.. my brother spawned a server and we had some 1v1, 2v2s, but they don't appear in QLranks...

Well as far as I have managed to track, it misses at least 30% of matches played and I know it takes about 2-3 days to update.
Lets say you play 15 matches during the update void and when the update happens 10 matches at best are logged in the rankings. Sometimes the percentage missed is 80%.

Hence this tool cannot unfortunately be relied on.

i've not seen it miss a single match, and i use it to track several players on an almost daily basis

I was way wrong before. It misses around 95% of all games played.
Lets say you play 25 games during one day. When the update comes it shows that 1 game has been logged, if you're lucky then 2 games.

He is very good (96% win ratio in ca, 100% in ctf, 100% in ffa, 96% in duel) altough he mostly plays ca dm6 and some ztn duel. He is as good as k1llsen in ca.. But for some reason he isnt on qlranks so is he suspected of cheating? I have played him and specced him (only in ca though) and havent seen anything that makes me belive he cheats. So why isnt he featured in qlranks?

stats are real.....if people fake them...then they are freaking fake. How they come by them is what matters. As long as u take ALL stats on the profile into account you can get a good picture.

the reason why alot of these veteran players don't like stats.... is not because they promote dishonest play...its actually quit the OPPOSITE. The problme for them is they can't remain anonymous.....and malicious activities are too obvious and recorded.
