whenever i try to save my cfg, I receive the error "unable to save cfg". I have tried a few different ways. With the 'save' button in the CFG menu and with the save_cfg ( or w/e that command is) but to no avail! Any help with this?

Also I can't DL any maps, or atleast I can't connect to any servers that have custom maps. (outside of w/e map pack I downloaded with nQuake)

someone suggested over irc that I didnt have pak0, which I didn't, but have now, and I still can't join certain servers.

also whats the best irc channel for QW help ?
