Oh and not to forget: most qw movies dont have electronic music and this is actually the first vid with dubstep in it.

I'm and was a bit of rare breed amongst the moviemakers in the QW community in that aspect.

Why judge an entire genre on the absolute garbage that movie makers pick?

Go listen to Loefah, Mala or Burial and you'll see why it got so popular. It's a wide genre with many different sounds. Or go even further and listen to some El-B dark garage, that shit is fucking legendary.

Well... in general I find most dubstep very shitty too!

To make dubstep digestable you need a few things: a lil favor for electronic music, a (very) HQ version of the song, and most important: a very good sound system!
This all makes it so that the majority simply just hears a very annoying track.

Dubstep works pretty well for fragmovies for because fragmovies are mixes and dubstep are mixes too. Dubstep is pretty fast paced, and offer lots of distict sounds and effects. Good dubstep offers a wide variation of effects. Dubstep is about rythems and dj-ing effects, just like fragmovies.
In theory it's a perfect match!

Dubstep never works with fragvideos. They never sync well or flow with the gameplay. I love dubstep and all (i am actually listening to dubstep right now), but i can't stand it in videos because nobody will get it right.
