Hihi, I was wondering if any kind gent could replicate this crosshair from q3 to ql at the 800x600 resolution? Many lucrative [+]'s may come your way! ^-^
(bonus + to whomever knows the map! (my personal fav))
just edit the color and tune the coordinates to your liking. shouldnt be too hard to understand even without knowing anything about huds. and there is always help: http://quakelivehud.blogspot.com/2009/05/intro.html
sry, monitor cant load that resulotion :/ im only able to get 1600x900 and 1600x1024. not sure if lines will reposition themselvs in 1680x1050, if not sure =)
These should should technically be correct representations of the crosshair colors in cpma other settings that could affect it are brightness which can be changed by reducing the amount of RGB by percentage so let's say you want 50% brightness for O use 0 0.125 0.25 etc....
and gamma , intensity and overbright bits and crosshair alpha so in cpma if you use crosshair alpha 0.8 you might want to reduce the opacity of the crosshair parts in the hudfile accordingly.
This is my xhair - http://i.imgur.com/vcFAH.jpg .If it is easy to do could someone please make it instead of a + to a x. Crosshairsize is 33 and also i would like it to turn red when doing dmg.
hmm, i use crosshair 3 size 36 since beta QL in 800x600 but i prefer the good ol q3 one... when i try to use jones crosshair 3 cg_drawcrosshair 777 (and cg_crosshairsize 0) the crosshair is not perfect, the vertical top is off, i dont understand why. I changed nothing in the file, i even downloaded it a second time to be sure.
Took it in TGA and then i made a zoomed screenshot of it in paint.net. I think the fix should be very easy but still i dont get how to solve it. Does it works properly with other people?
identify which "VERTCAL TOP" is off, lower the rect by .5. once you have identified which shadow is off, its very easy to adjust it to look like the bottom vertical.
btw, dont call it jones', either rushs or mine =) jones had nothing to do with it =)
