Today I was experimenting with other browsers to see if QL feels any different or not. I did not change any settings except switched to in_mouse -1 and 1 in because the mouse felt weird and laggy.

After the test, I went back to FF, set in_mouse back to 2 and tried to play but I immediately noticed that something is wrong. I had the same settings what I had before (I even execed the cfg I backed up before the testing just to make sure) but the mouse felt different.
So I restored the whole C: from backup (I automatically backup my boot partition on every Monday with Snapshot) but I still have a different feel.

Guess I just have to get used to this now:)

Try to restore your config to default by quake live main page menu options. Search for something like "game settings" and "reset settings to default". After a ql restart your repconfig.cfg should be deleted, go in game and exec ur cfg.

Weird sens appears even on default cfg.

Uninstall the driver. All mouse drivers are rubbish. Set them up yourself.

Im using cheap ps/2 logitech without custom drivers (only default windows ps/2 mouse driver).

today i started to get problems with my sens too. every 3 minutes or so my mouse starts to chop up like i'd have 10-20fps. this lasts for 30sec~ and then goes away :( weird

The mouse doesn't lag in windows at all? The pointer is behaving normally?

Yesterday in the morning I changed my cfg (sens & accel for rail) and started play QL. After second match i noticed something wrong with my sens (especially for shaft). Nothing helps me so i decided to post on esr.

Can you try to plug in your mouse with an adapter to the usb port? (or w/out ps2 adapter if that's the case) and see if the problem persists?

To see, if this is Quake Live, Windows, or drivers etc ... the problem.

If your mouse setting is ok in Quake III, then the problem is clearly Quake Live.

I have also had mouse/sens problems lately first my sens felt twice as high as usual, now it feels like i have some delay and sens is still weird.. Tried different cfgs, different in_mouse values, different browsers, reinstalled ql, removed accel, updated mouse firmware.. Nothing seems to help.

Did u both tried to use m_cpi ?

Maybe you're having vsync on?

Try r_swapinterval 0 followed by vid_restart and if that don't help make sure your gpu settings aren't forcing vertical sync on.

If I set QUALITY in my NVIDIA Control Panel, sense became a lot lower.
Lazy to check , what option affects it, BUT SOMEHOW .. SOMEHOW it can be sensebug shit problem..

Someone with gefore try use PERFORMANCE , check sense and try USE QUALITY and check sense.

"m_filter 50" sums up the problem pretty well. It feels like a mouse-delay of several ms and is more appropriate than the description I posted here:

Since I've tried everything from changing drivers (mouse, gpu, cpu), dpi, polling rate, hardware-check, software-check (formating) to ql-config "debugging", I've pretty much given up and praying for a fix from ID...
I only check esr for mouse-bug related threads, so I'm actually happy to see another one.
