he's a filthy pole so no-one cares about what he wrote)) cos pope died))
But yea, I'd still rather play Saint's Row 2/Killing Floor/Defrag than WarHammer 40k: that;'s a whole compilation that should either be noticed or completely ignored. < Spoken through experience, since I haven't played any of the Warhammer games, but apparently it's a nicely established universe. Made me feel guilty for not giving a fuck + not downloading everything + uninstalling :(
I felt exactly the same way, they might be good games for all I know but so far I always got pushed away from the idea of "Orkz" in space and the marines going AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH gears of war style.
Stronghold, two vs the pc.
Also, Left 4 Dead (the first one): you can play you and your friend plus two other smart enough bots versus the zombies.
Splinter cell pandora tomorrow, very very cooperative, and both the -army of two-.
Plus Serious Sam, the first encounter and the second encounter.
All of them, personally played cooperatively in LAN.
And my choice of heart goes to Serious Sam as I've been enjoying the first and second encounter a lot when they came out. Even made some coop speedrunning that were pretty funs times.
2) Will someone without shooter experience find either frustrating?
Can only answer this question as I didnt play L4D1, but I played the sequel with people who dont spend most of their time playing video games and it was good fun. You should play only on normal or easy and not Versus-mode.
Hf!
I'd say l4d2 is a bit more scary than part 1 as there are simply more and different special zombies that have their own attack, more tricky moments in levels as well..
None of them is frustrating for one without fps-experience since there are hints and audible (minimal) guidelines regarding to where you have to go/what you have to do (shoot barrels for example).
edit: I just read cloned's post and one thing that can be frustrating is the difficulty level.. Easy and normal are nice to play, Hard is, obviously like it should be, hard but it can be frustrating at times where you find yourself trapped in an unexpected situation cornered by zombies and since 1 hit does a lot of damage it's nearly impossible to get out of it by yourself, you really need to rely on eachother (=> meaning of co-op ofc!)
I think both games encourage co-op a lot... Since you never played any of them I think it doesn't matter which one you play.. (at least in the multiplayer) the "story" or characters are not really that important imo.
