I guess I'll be a dick and make a few suggestions for wonko's casting(bless ya for putting in your time doing this):

1. Your casting tends to sound like one continous run-on sentence. Mirror your words/phrases to the action on-hand. QL happens in bursts; so model your phrasing into more clipped, transitive verb summaries, instead of those long, droning explications. You are doing LIVE casting so fire it out instead of realtime boggy analysis.
2. Remember teleporters aren't pronounced TELLYporters; rather it's TELLUHporters, in phonetic speak. Try to mix in sometimes a phrase with rising inflection. Ending a sentence with your voice rising adds a bit more energy and less drone.

** otherwise your QL duel/tdm knowledge really shines through.

Thx for the suggestions. I think people told me more or less the same thing when i started out. Thing is when you are only casting like once in two months it's hard to improve. Gotta do it often enough to try and change stuff and get some feedback. I have to find a way to stop talking so much really. It's really strange. When I'm watching a demo or another replay for instance I can think of so many interesting things to say but on live streams I get all blank and just keep saying things in a similar vein over and over. I don't even feel like I'm doing any good analysis tbh. I just talk about some really basic strategy. Feel like I could do much better if I could just think in bursts and only talk about interesting stuff instead of blabbing on about this and that.

ps: It could very well be that I'd be much better as robin than batman if you know what I mean. I enjoyed casting with someone like jehar who would do the play by play and I could then take the time to analyze things and only put in a word when there was something interesting to point out.

pps: no the pronunciation for teleport is not telluhport, it is teliport (at least according to the oed).

yeah I'm pretty sure it's just an accent thing, neither pronunciation is wrong. I don't say it your way, but I'm australian, we schwa any vowel sound we can get our hands on :p

edit: also I thought you did a good job. Room for improvement of course, but good. It's good that you're willing to change, but please, stay focused on content and explaining the finer details, and err on the side of the natural imperfections of your style, rather than falseness and trying to play a role that doesn't come naturally.

I chose the Brit pronunciation. They do say "telly" for telephone, but just as a colloquial. Like foctis said, the schwa for "tele"-anything comes out in "telegraph" "telephone" "telecommunications" and yes "teleport" Maybe it's strictly a US/Canada/UK thing, but you don't hear anybody going around saying "tellyphone."
