droppu and dropflag almost never works for me, only dropweapon. it's a fucked up bug

It's probably your motherboard. Buy a new computer.

I would assume the problem is that at some point you messed up and entered something along the lines of:

set dropweapon set

into your console. This is where things went ugly. Your config is set to your account, so in order to set dropweapon back to it's default not messed up value, you need to return the config to default. Then you can load your config with your binds and visuals, etc.

To do this, go to the ql page, settings -> game settings -> reset to default.

You can also try to load the default QL config which I believe is repconfig, ie /exec repconfig. Don't quote me on this.

If all else fails, buy a new house.

thx, reset it in the QL settings helped :) i didnt know this option is there, becoz i never set a single bind in this menu...

one a side note, what are your graphics settings? Looks very nice.

you dont need to reinstall windows when you have a problem in quake live, there is an option in ql where you can set the settings back to default.

You have to run around your house 3 times, pay 10 euros to every charity in town, sacrifice 3 animals to the gods, and last but not least you have to punch a donkey.

Lately I had something messed up in my config and I was forced to reset all game settings to default - you can do that in options menu.

Then you need to make whole config from beginning, copy all binds you have (without aliases and cvars). You can also copy graphic settings. Then just make new binds for drop pu, flag, weapon.

This is why we save our configs

It's no use, quit quake.

repconfig.cfg feature has to be deleted.

You have to reinstall windows first.
Then look into your cfg for a line like this to delete it:
seta dropweapon "...".
If you can't find it then type unalias dropweapon in the console.
