very very nice games in the show already, so far all games delivered, some great combat analysis by fazz, even the best commentators focus sometimes too much on the meta game but combat actually matters as much, fazz brought out some combat scenarios/ideas very nicely.

In my eyes he is far from "presenter" type of guy. He has A LOT of knowledge about the game but has a big problem of not knowing how to present it properly. Example of it: in every game you here from him: "what ? he didnt die" and similar remarks to himself. He should be like "Oh i m surprised this situation didnt go in favor of "player1" cause of the "reason1" etc etc too much situations that he comments to himself instead of viewers. Its ok for people that know whats going on but yeah we dont need any commentator in that case.

He also screams like a girl and tbh if you are going to show yourself in font of few thousand people at least change your "pedo looking" glasses (in short - nerd and nerds dont belong on screens).

p.s. thx for "tips" from other day, i ll play you any day that is if i know who you are :) Cheers.

Seeing 7,5k viewers watch quake is almost as amazing as it is sad to know that many of those new people are going to play quake live for a week and quit, not because of gameplay, but because simple features that id failed to provide.

This whine is old, but everything about quake is old. I tune in to a stream half a year after not watching anything and it's the same: great effort by the community that goes nowhere, because id doesn't give a fuck.

ud need a much bigger pipeline to do that. adding that much texture info dramatically increases the bandwidth ud need to avoid pixelation. even on sc2 streams with 1080p high quality, u notice pixelation when they move the screen in game a lot. imagine quake then.

they might be able to do it when they get their net is fixed. but the downside would be that the viewers would need higher bandwidth as well. unless they do multiple streams i guess.

Strenx seemed a little tacken aback in the beginning of aero vs tox. Imo tox went to passive all off a sudden like 4 minutes into the game at aero, dunno why he did that.. He still hade a big stack and weapon advantage, after that strenx got more and more momentum

Best stream show ever.
It would be cool if they would do interview with the winner in the end.
Also wish subscription was cheaper. Would like to support it but $5 is a little too much for a stream, especially when you compare it to QL pro account which costs $1 less. And 8.5K viewers for a Quake only show is pretty damn impressive.

watched about 2 hours at the beginning and the very last map of the final. Have to say they improved massively.

Also it got plenty of viewers too. I don't think blc's nor dota2's dedicated shows are going to get more viewers than quake did. On the other hand there are 16,000 people watching some underaged LoL player browsing the interwebz on a monday afternoon.

There are plenty of high tier QL players in europe so it shouldn't be a problem hosting 2 more rounds without repeating competitors.

Plus if anything goes wrong you could always do showmatches, such as the inactive player championship (jibo, gopher, fox, 2gd, etc), 1v1 cpm (no idea who are the best players), pk showmatch featuring voo v. the current champion if they are more or less matched, 1v1 CA against heartless, bitchito against flesh1 for the 3-1 world hero trophy, and my personal favorite "the shadowmaster155 challenge".
