I use Namecheap for both domains and hosting.

I've been using Linode + Namecheap.

If its working fine don't screw around with it, unless the performance, security or pricing has been an issue just stay where you are.

Everyone will have an opinion on who is the best and most of them are clueless to how X compared to Y, especially if you don't detail what do you want services SSL/APACHE/WINDOW/SQL/PHP5 as those are the things that will push your host.

You'll know if performance, security and pricing has been an issue, if it not, you're already at a good one or your needs are basic and it won't really matter where you go.

Just pick the 10 best sites that do what you want to do and check out where they are hosted and go with one of them.

Whoever you go with google them first, dont be too put off by complaints as most people only go online to complain, but just look out for any gaping holes that might shit on your future ideas.

I'm not planning on migrating my current websites, just looking out for cheaper alternatives for future ones.

My needs won't go further than the 'entry/basic' hosting package, as 90% of providers support WAMP on their 'entry' hosting anyway.

When I say hosting specs, I'm really looking for unlimited traffic and a substantial HD quota. Only about 1/4 of companies offer unlimited traffic on their basic hosting package from what I've seen so far .
