did you find a way to restore the pad back to its original state ? still can't believe that i wasted 60 euros for a mousepad that only lasted 3 months.
Hate its friction so much, back to my puretrak talent for now.
Thanks for the link. I'll try it out when I have the time. Just worried about the issues h8m3 got with the bumps. It has such a nice uniform layer atm I don't wanna fuck it up.
Had both, sold the g-tf speed along with zowie am for half the price :p
speed is thinner than hayate ( duh )
it feels less comfortable το use when planting your wrist on top since there is less cushion to be felt
it is kinda rougher to the touch, hayate feels silky smooth despite its looks
less control / stopping power due to lower thickness and less cushion
its rolled up edges are a nice touch but hayate looks very durable as well
the base is even worse than regular g-tf, takes days to sit flatten on textured wooden desk, slides off very easily during gameplay, hayate on the hand literally GLUES above your desk :D
gtf speed is pretty much the fastest cloth pad if you prefer playing on a rough surface but hate the feel of plastic, it's even faster than artisan hien imo
artisan is like puretrak talent, but with much better edges, humidity resistance, even smoother movement and a superb feel overall, it's expensive but honestly i don't think there is a better pad out there for a cloth fan.
