New maps. Or at least maps that werent played in last years. I even find dm6 more interesting atm.
Don't get me wrong if I was going to play then it would be perfect mappool for me (besides ztn) but as spectator I'm bored of it.

Well I'd probably like to see new maps too, but you can't expect the only lan in months to be experimenting just for the sake of it.

The invites is not that strange considering there are -> 32 <- slots. I'll take a wild stab in the dark and guess that they pick some random names from the list of applicants without any form of "ranking" behind it.
If a player haven't made an application he will not be on any list.

there are only 7 there for now, that means there are 25 spots to fill. I'm pretty sure the calibre of players yet to show themselves are going to be equally high if not higher. I can't imagine why players such as cypher, av3k, rapha wouldn't participate.

If anything, this is already very exciting because we got people travelling far and wide to turn up - as well as some of the russians that a lot of us are excited to see perform on LAN in 2012...

Don't keep us waiting too long on the next lot !!

Basically, his contract with his team is finished, the only reason to play tourneys is to win, it takes 2 weeks of practice to get in shape for 1st place, and he hasn't got the time right now.

It's not like he'd be able to win anything today.

hope you know good weapon combination raises accuracy a whole hell of a lot, now this changes depending on how good you aim with all guns.

if i can hold a 40 acc lg instead of switching to rocket, i will keep it depending on the enemy movements/weapon, however if i have 30 acc lg, i will switch out to rocket to do more damage at that time, trying to take no damage and give maximum potential damage to the enemy.

dahang has good weapon combination making the illusion that he has good aim, because he switches at the proper time of when his accuracy has decreased for said gun.

watch dahang play more closely, he will miss MANY fucking easy shots with all guns but then switches out to a new gun to prevent him from getting totally demolished in the fight, it is fucking cringe worthy to see him play duel. (hopefully hitbox tweak/fix will allow him to not suck at aiming)

watch his cypher vs dahang games on dm13 etc, hes outplayed but also its mostly because he cant hit shit

That's because you bot Celestial or asmodel whichever name your using these days. I've played you in duel are you are terrabad at it you have no timing and if anyone takes away your lg your done. Dahang from the times I dueled with him ql/q4 he is one of the better aimmers in all of ql.

about ztn,ask the players that will play in the tourney,if they want ztn with the old spawns or new spawns,if they want the old spawns,just ask syncerror to spawn servers for the tourney with the old spawns ( i think they can do that,if not,just ask players if they still want ztn in the mappool,if not,replace it with campgrounds,hektik,houseofdecay or some other map)

about TDM,i think this is the best time ever to make a TDM tourney,with 32 players attending (which make 8 teams ) and some players who are going just to watch ( you can make 1-2 teams from them ) you can get a bigger amount of teams then the dhw ( which imo didnt worked well cause it was winter,ppl get lazy to go in the freezing weather there,also,some players got studys and work) but in summer,no studies and there is not much work,also,ppl can take some vacation just to go to dh.
so,you already got 8 teams,with some players from spec ( who play ql TDM but not duel) you get more 1 -2 teams,and with some teams who may attend just to play a TDM tourney you will get more 2 - 3 teams ( let's say play>,wision's clan,p1s' clan maybe ) so overall,you will get more teams than dhw.

you can make a TDM tourney,no need for big money prizes ( make like headphones as prize or just 100 euros for the winner),just like the CTF tourney,the prizes were nothing but all they care about is the fun,with TDM,there will be more fun and more viewers for QL and DH ( im pretty sure some players who will attend will play some TDM matches just for the fun).

I really do hope 2gd will be there to cast duel, he usually is and tbh no one does it better no one has that same level of insight to give or charisma as say joe or 2gd. Not to mention the repor he has with the pros which means unlike other casters he can rope them in to co cast for a few games and then it can end up being something really entertaing to watch afterwards like in the past with the "voogd show". It would be a real shame and kind of a downer to have someone else cast in his rightful place. And it seems kind of weird that thegdstudio is not going to cover such a major quake event when a large preportion of its viewers are quake players.

I wouldn't mind zoot + some pro either. I absolutely dig the format - entertainer + insight.
