the bike would run but it wouldnt stay running under 6000 rpm. the pilot jets in both carbs were gummed up and the main jet in the left carb was clogged shut. I had to keep the bike 3/4 throttle to keep it running.
there were things that needed to be done to it that are more easy to do now that i've removed so much unnecessary shit from it. the battery and air box were in the way of the carburetors. now that they are removed, the carbs will be more easily accessible in the future. i painted the tank because it was faded, scratched, and flaking off. i removed the seat because it had some tears in it and it weighed about 30 lbs. those are the most expensive things ive done thus far. spray paint and air filters combined cost me about $150 and i already got the bike for cheap, so i didnt "waste" money at all.
all this to make a more unique riding experience on a bike that i spent my money to rebuild. dont like it? get a job, buy a bike that's already perfect for you, if one exists, and stop bitching. this one was in my price range even with the changes ive had to make to it, and it's been more fun than buying some cookie cutter bike straight off the line, and when i take it out, its going to turn heads. im happier with that than i ever would be with a stock crotch rocket.
From our end it looks like you are trying to botch something together and not very well either. Definitely not something I'd consider putting on a game forum and brag about it.
