... i mean why this seems so interesting to me, ...its because i would like to see this, somehow implemented with qlprism... with a nice diffrent overlay BAM ... sc2 like interface :P
1. It's PSI communicator, not Pidgin.
2. I didn't know about QL plugin for Pidgin but there are only small differences between PSI and Pidgin (for example: sending QuakeLive invites won't crash PSI).
3. My script works fine but it's not PSI plugin. It's kind of hack in ruby langague.
4. As any good jabber communicator, PSI uses transports to connect to the other communicators/protocols (ICQ, MSN, IRC etc.). Pidgin probably do the same.
5. For now my solution is in experimental phase so I have to test it before upload.
It also links the original in C, written in 2008/2009...
So what's special about this attempt again? That instead of uploading working script, this builds hype with a YouTube video? I'm taking notes for whatever I publish from now on ;)
i just posted this because i havent seen it done before and i would like to add it under community made addons for quakelive. But ofc before i added i want to test it, like everything else i have on the community made addons.
If 3 ppl find my link to the script and its benefecial to them i am satisfied.
