It's been 5 weeks since we've started our
playQUAKELIVE CTF series and we are finally at the end of our road, and it's going down on
Sunday, June 3rd @ 10:00 CST.
We would like to thank all the teams that participated in the qualification rounds, even if they were just for points and seeding. Next we'd like to thank our sponsors,
SGL and
Twitch.TV, for making these events possible and providing the prize purse for our teams to fight for.
Throughout the qualification rounds there were 2 teams that stood out, 
Unknown and hot hot hot. Unfortunately for hot hot hot, they haven't played in all the qualification cups and other teams overtook them, dropping them to 4th place overall and lowest top seed for the Grand Finals and having them potentially face Unknown as soon as semi finals, which could prove to be the finals before the actual finals. On the other side of the bracket, Pros of Pain have a bit easier route to the finals, even tho the can't be arzzed team already beat them once in qualifications and rest of the games played very closely with them, so anything is possible in the bottom part of the brackets as well.
