But...isn't that dependent on the player's decision making? Like they are not going to do it randomly - only when they think it will 'work out well'. Or are you saying it's only rarely useful? OK, but nobody is claiming its useful all of the time.
I think the point is, the jump is tricky, try doing it 10 times in row as quickly as you can to simulate about half of the difficulty in game and the risk you would encounter in game and you'll see what I mean?
Its tricky just to land every time under no pressure. And if its something you use rarely, you're never going to be that confident in doing it first time every time cos its not something you'll be in sync with.
Imagine your life depended on doing the top to top jump on tourney 4 right now, first time.
A map many have played for over 10 years 1000's of times, I bet even most pros would fail it first time. This is worse than that IMO.
