thought the same thing. its sad, really.

because top players tend to not obsess over configs and instead play the game a lot :D

it's just so much easier to tweak shit in a cfg when you can't actually load it without crashing the game ( happens a lot with those 40kb cfgs )

Apparently he used 400dpi at DHW, but maybe nYmPhets has more updated information. 800 dpi and sens 2 would be higher than it looked from his over the shoulder cam at quakecon.

Also, in all of his configs, he has his sensitivity set to 2.4. The reason you might mistakenly think it's set to 2 is because that's in the weapon aliases which are never used in his binds.

Sounds a bit low to me without accel (well, built-in Kinzu, but still). I don't remember where I get the info about 800.

Well you can watch the quakecon vods to see how his sensitivity looks when they show the over the shoulder cam. 31cm/360 (560 dpi, m_yaw 0.022, sensitivity 2.4) with a bit of kinzu accel seems about right. You can try the 31cm/360 yourself and see how your mouse transfers to the screen.

Btw, the 400 dpi being equivalent to 560 dpi was measured at some point. I can't remember where I found it but they used some program to measure the actual dpi. Listed dpis aren't always correct, especially for lower DPI settings. My Zowie FK is supposed to be 450 dpi, but is actually more around 475 dpi.

Also, the over the shoulder view made Raphas' sensitivity and accel look ridiculous. Barely has to move his hand to look around.

Just offtopic,if you have a Samsung 2233 (or better i guess) you should try;

Its an odd res for me but you get the crispness like in native but its 4:3 (as i prefer).Works in 120hz too.
