I remember a thread where p0rt posted some hard-tek youtube links, you'd have to crank that to 11 while bobbing your head and reading the code to have the true p0rt-xperience

unfortunately it is hard to find chunks of madness in the code he posted, since most it’s id’s

would appreciate more if he could post pure blocks of his. It would probably be like an abstract painting. Actually, he could make an art gallery displaying many of his code blocks.

probably his work will be appreciated after death, like the work of Vincent Van Gogh.

core code is id, compare files in a ascii text finder, and most gameplay code has been recoded, the game as 2 dlls because the code is shit

q43a has 1 dll for sp and mp, there is no water, no mp vehicles, no mp flashlights, no custom player models, no lipsynced voicetaunts no nothing, unless you code it all your self, which changes how every entity works in sp and mp client and server side, etc etc etc

90% of actual gameplay code has been recoded or tweaked to make all new features work like normal on servers and in sp, with a unified dll

part of the full custom player model support, each model has its own sounds and taunts, with auto voice taunts enabled in server config, players will taunt on every frag they make, when disabled you can use key binds to say taunts
