T7 was nice... respect to p0ni on that map... which i then lost in the 2nd map, fu p0ni! :P

To be fair to p0ni he had just got completely destroyed on toxic, cypher was warmed up and hitting incredible rails on ztn and was in full control - there was not going to be a happy ending for p0ni... Why go through 6 more minutes of rape? I think he did his best and probably wasn't thinking about being entertaining for the viewers... Playing against cypher has got to be pretty exhausting and stressful - he did well on the 1st map which was tense and went to overtime then he got battered on toxic and then he had to play cypher on ztn! I think the 1st map took everything he had in the tank.

He also stood out in the open against Cypher's rail/lg/rl with his mg blazing on ztn... like 3 times in a row.

honestly dunno why you guys are hating on poni in the finals.

he was getting outplayed in some points, or at the very best he was level in certain situations, overall he didnt have an answer and he knew it.

no point in him wasting time, if he cant hold the lead in control, how do you expect him to get it back and win?

not saying poni isnt a great player - he is - but it just wasnt his day clearly. it did not appear to be rage quitting to me, just looked as if he knew he didnt have an answer and didnt want to waste time.
