Remember dreamhack had such an awesome game between Calipt and Hypnotic when hypno was relatively unknown. Calipt is known just not a rapha or a cypher.

What a fucking joke. No coverage aside from a small handful of maps played in the groups. Keynote goes over quarter, and semi finals.

To their defense, last year when they streamed the matches over the keynote, people complained too. Can't satisfy everyone I'm afraid.

That's fine. I get that the keynote is really important and that Carmack's work and insights on the industry and where it's going are interesting to a lot of people. I listened for a while. Still, the keynote ended before everything was wrapped up. They didn't even cover Dahang Vs Rapha which was well after the seminar ended, and that looks like it was the match of the Tournament especially because of the outcome. Compared to last year, the coverage is just abysmal. That combined with the awfulness of the most recent patch and the lack of Europeans attending really drove the nail into and through the coffin at this point for me.

Exactly, I want so see the VODs when they come up without seeing the results :P

I was pretty pissed off for staying up until the hours of the morning only to find out that the matches for the day had ended.

But then I remembered that id has given a lot of shit back to the community throughout the years. Source codes, tournaments and, most importantly, the fact that QL is free.

I know you have to pay to get the full experience but don't tell me that was their intention from the get go. I believe they actually intended to make this game completely free. They just couldn't afford it, given the economy and the gaming industry's state.

So how about we cut the whining and post VOD links as soon as we find them so that we can watch them before the tournament ends?

Seriously, where are the real VODs, those YouTube videos while much appreciated are captured from the poor quality stream with a very low FPS.
