Just wondering, in your opinion which country in europe who has amazing architecture that you really admire? I'd really like pictures if possible as well. Thanks.

so good high quality buildings and so few people
the pack of images forms a representative image in reverse of the effects of high consumerism in society
I heard that a lot of old beautiful architecture in eastern europe was lost due to world war 2. Then generic communist blocks replaced the old architecture. Is that true to a high degree?
Since the huge amount of money spent in stupid architecture projects, and some legacy structures made long time ago by people like Gaudi, i can assure Spain wont let you indifferent; some utterly retarded, expensive and useless examples:
I also find architecture in Netherlands and Germany quite interesting too; Amsterdam , for example, is a cool place to wander around looking at those 16th century buildings while smoking.
I thought everything in germany got destroyed by the english and us,
I think hitler had problems with his air attacks against england while the english and us got through totally ...
I also think that england/us knew already around 1944 that the war was bascially won, but still complete destroyed dresden in early 1945 ... just for fun ... the problem germany has it can't say anything, because history is written by the so called winners of the war ...
So you claim, but anyone can say that about anything without defining their reasons for doing so other than you just think.
Large parts of the UK and Europe were bombed by the germans, its just a fact, if you have a better answer as to why large arts of BRITISH ARCHITEURE was destroyed in the 20th century be my guest...
tbh hungarians have such ridiculous self esteem that basiclly 8 out of 10 think they are the lowest lifeform in europe after the trianon made countries, and 2 out of 10 thinks even jesus christ was hungarian god and elvis too. Budapest is decent in my book, but hungarians don't even think about posting it here for the upper reasons:) Just like Esztergom (another city at the slovak-hungarian border) the 1000 year old crowning city of the first hungarian king Budapest is dirty and swimming in debt, tourist generally like it.
Cologne cathedral certainly is very impressive from the outside but somewhat lacking on the inside i thought, compared to cathedrals in for example Budapest.
Train station wise obv Antwerp central station (known as the cathedral of trains) , you'll be hard pressed to find a similar mixture of old and new as well executed as that.
amsterdam doesn't look nice, just different, if you're the first time in dam you'll be amazed by all the infrastructure for bikes and boats in everywhere, bridges everywhere, churches reconverted in spaces for shops and so on...the architecture might not be as remarkable as other euro places, but you have to admit it has something besides weed
Dutch architecture was most influential from mid nineties to mid 2000. Yes, it really worth of visiting for the sake of seeing different things. But so is Brasil where modernism won and Japan for example. A lot of countries has incredible architectural masterpieces that are must see beside Europe: India, Iran, Mexico etc.
