funny, i've never heard of this, but there's definitely some logic. the colon symbol in russian keyboard layout is typed by shift-6. which is farthest from the usual placing of hands.

yet again, russians are typing smiles like that on an english layout too.

so whats the verdict on terminus overall? it felt really slow and clunky to me. didnt enjoy watching that game much either. limbus felt much much better.

i quit 10 min in, was too boring to watch

from what i saw, limbus is ok, not as rail heavy as i thought.
personally, i think terminus could be "grim dungeons 2.0". it seems very complex, hope it won't throw people off.. and omg all those little jumps!! :)

just from the looks both look good to me.
and terminus looks very cool with high graphic settings.

that was actually the plan, creating a similar map to dm14 since we havent had any new maps like that and there were some demands for a more 'tactical/teamplay' whateverish map.. its not everyone's cup of tea ofc. and the thing is, teams need to learn the map for it to be interesting, just like dm14. i was kinda happy how CZ were playing it during regular gameplay aswell, too bad they sucked on powerups :D


also i was surprised people werent using the easiest useful jumps hardly at all, especially at RA room stairs and the yard area. people did seem to be quite confused in general, pavel for example getting ya/rg spawn but not getting the rg off the spawn at beginning :) i just hope teams are willing to give the map a chance, cause its not like dm14 is that popular except among the more veteran players

by the look of it it's as tactically complex as dm14, but a bit faster, so it has potential to be very good when people learn it and get used to it well. then again the way the map is played can develop into something completely different (within reason of course). I'm intrigued and hoping to see it more.

Like this map very much! This is something fresh in comparison to all other maps.

it looks great to me and i think its good that there are also slow tdm maps.

How much did you pay the russkiys to play terminus? Been trying to get them to play that ever since release. If we voted it they would retaliate, vote dm20 and timeout at least 30 times during the game just to piss us off.
