Surreal first 3:13 minutes. Being them Polish I would say there's something fishy going on, though the 2:30 frag shows they know their stuff, but lets keep watching.
Ok 5:48 I call staged, but great so far.
7:00 in. I'm missing some flick rails and chaingun frags.
10:40 yeah chaingun.
And I watched the rest without pauses, which shows I was entertained.

Easy 11/10, but I really missed flick rails (0 in the movie, maybe with some cheesy jumps since it is q2) and chaingun frags (only 1 sequence and in q2 is a key weapon).

Funny that the other great q2 movie is also Polish (polish frag festival) and that afaik Poland was by far the country with the most cheaters (there was a list made by r1ch's anticheat but I can't find it).

omg I miss you Quake2!!!!!! This fucking motivate me to play again especially when I saw legend clans like swedish LM, polish sYhnt, finlands Wizards and dutch 187. I want them back, I want Quake2 back!! :/ I can see that they didn't put a lot of work in a movie like they did in both polish frag festival, but this frags, quake2 and my motivation to play q2 again is rate 1000000000 by me!

I know why CAREEM got excited now.Too much awesomeness in only the first few mins...had to stop it and watch later. What little I saw would make any q2 movie's Top Five. I have to go back and watch the whole movie, making timenotes for certain frags. I can't believe the back-to-back double kills, all the triples, the quaded BFG...okay I'll be back. Just crazy stuff here.

Great job sofiene by putting it here. I would like to see some more really great q2 fragmovies here.

This one is one of the best for sure, but we must have waited for it such a long time. It took many years to finally see it released. What makes it a great movie is that the fact, all of the frags are from official 4v4 TDM games or pcw's - no pickup's included, so there's no staging there at all. IMHO the frags are mostly the most insane stuff ever included in a q2 movie.

About ingame sounds, AFAIK this is really harder to achieve then in q3/ql, while converting cutted demos to .avi pieces. Especially with this case, cause aK used beefq2 to do this (.demo to .tga to .avi). It's not impossible - buli made few movies with ingame sounds - but most of the q2 fragmovies was without ingame sounds.

q2 looks boring compared to 1/3. watched the movie till the 6 minute mark and stopped it because i lost interest.
thats not the fault of the movie tho but the actual game itself and the only downside i can see is the total lack of ingame sound.

Quake 2 is def. the weakest of the quake series in entertainment value.

Quake2 is really fast only what is slow in q2 are weapons.

Rail heavy? Try to rail in q2 and try to hit.

''BFG frags? OLOLO '' You obviously have no idea what are you talking about. With BFG on dm2 (like in this movie)you have only 1 or 2 blast avalible and for that you need to use it smart. BFG blast is very slow, it have huge delay when u fire. You need to know that BFG blast fly extreme slow. So BFG is pretty hard to use. The best thing for BFG at dm2 is that you rush quad with 100/200 and blow them with one or two BFG blasts. But its hard and BFG spawns every few minutes, you cant even predict BFG respawn. Sometimes BFG spawns like in 5mins.
At dm6 you have to use it smart aswell. You need to collect bfg and attack full stacked enemy at rail while hes camping ra. Enemy there is full stacked and he will +b and rail you. Really really hard to use BFG right! So that BFG frags OLOLOL you can take it back.

If you're not being sarcastic, then nm...to tack this point to CAREEM's: BFG is not a frag tallying weapon; it's about 90% strategic and appears very little in most competitive tdm leagues. On dm2, you can use it to retake the RA room where you can score two-three frags since one player camps there and constantly feeds/receives ammo/weap to teammates passing through(quad BFG is even more of a hilarious rarity).

Granted that "entertainment value" is highly subjective -- competitive q2 tdm(4v4) leagueplay involves bo5 20min matches, with tons and tons of non-melee stuff going on like 3-4 DIFFERENT ammo/weap drops, pu drops, constant location/health updates(specific to each map), guarding weap locations(longest spawn time of the quakes) and the most noob unfriendliest circle/strafe jumping I've ever experienced in quake. To a non-q2playing spec, it probably doesn't sparkle to watch.

At dm2 with bfg is hard to retake RA. Quad is the weapon for retake RA and clean up the mess around RA. With bfg you can rush quad or clean the mess under ra or try to kill quad runner with it. To retake RA is really hard with BFG. Ra mostly ppl retake with hand grenades, rockets, rail, rjs, quad or team8 supported double jumps to RA which is extreme hard to make without fail.

edit: Ah, I didnt noticed RA ''room'', you meant under RA. Ye, you can clean up the mess under with BFG.

Didn't like the editing (or lack of it, so to say). Music was probably nice but I can't say really.
Content itself was good, gotta love these nice skilled railshots in QII and nades and midairs - which are probably the most difficult in QII of all.

I liked it, entertained throughout the 20 minutes which is pretty hard to do for a game I've never really touched outside of single player :)
I really like this kind of approach to avis.. that is 100% clan match/scrim footage not random pub bullshit, coupled together with some intense techno music :) I would never listen to these tunes in my personal time but for some reason I love them going behind frag vids! I also didn't mind that there was no ingame sound.

definitely an top q2 movie but i doubt this is the best movie. Then again, alot of great air rl and multi kill rails. In my personal rankin for q2movies edl3 and edl4 movies are better. Hope there will be more q2 movies cause its good for the scene.

Quake2 looks much better when you actually play it. Movies are usually low res and everyone has different texture paks so anyone can say it's different ;) Besides some frags were hard but if you never played the game you don't even realise.
