yeh pretty decent. tbh i hadnt played tekken in years until i picked it up so my word alone shouldn't sway a decision heh. i still need to learn another character (used to play heihachi, will learn kazuya).
There's just something that bugs me when I have too very similar characters on my team, to each his own I guess .
By the way good are you with mishimas?
similar styles make it easier to learn both though lol.
back in t5 and t5:dr i used to be pretty fucking solid with heihachi. only taken tekken up again recently though and am rather mediocre at best. only just picked up kaz but he feels very comfortable to play with. i would play with jinpachi and heihachi but pachi is a tad slow.
i'll need to go onto practise mode and learn all their moves again, plus practise wavedashing etc etc
i'd love to play with yoshi but he's too complicated and quite weak.
in T5 and DR I mained jin and subbed asuka and lili
in T4 I mained hwoarang and subbed kazuya
in T3 I mained jin and subbed xiaoyu
These days I use a combination of those with jun in the mix, only really learnt what a wavedash was recently even though I've been doing them as long as I can remember and also recently focused on learning just frames with the mishima style characters EWGF and EWHF moves and learnt how to korean back dash.
I'm currently best with asuka, I have gotten a hang of her slowish strikes and learnt to punish by dealing 60-90dmg combos per launch and learnt how to sort of avoid getting hit by using certain attacks with her notably : df+1+2 , ff+4 and db,1,2.
I have an urge to learn some grapplers ( asuka is kind of one ) and learn lars
