Yep... and it'll plague you for the life of the pad. Feels great out of the box but then gets really bad after just a few week of usage.

I sold mine and went back to a talent... disappointing as hell especially for $60.

hm although what about hien though, can the dust be removed there?

yeah, i washed mine 2 times in the washing machine and use it for a year or so and it's like brand new
P.S. hard version, soft might deform a bit like hayate does when you wash it like this

I use the shiden-kai and I wash it with soap and warm water regularly. A quick wipe down with a towel dries it very fast.

In fact, I rinse it multiple times a day if I'm playing a lot.

sounds like a shitty pad if you have to wash it multiple times a day.... I wash my talent like once a year.

might be the dusty room i have, or that I've grown accustomed to the extra slippery feel the damp layer creates. More likely it's because I'm using a ballmouse, which creates a lot of extra friction.

When I remove the ball and test with just the feet, I believe there's a lot less variability in the feel of the pad.

i dont like shiden kai tioo slippery, im considering hien but im not sure if u can remove the dust completely, can anyone tell me that?

I've never had any problem with any dust on my Hayate. I live in Austin, TX and have owned it for about a year.
