the g300 isnt that bad imo. the sensor isnt dead center but people make too much of a fuss about that. you adjust almost instantly. It's just super thin.
No cable protection, where the wire enters the mouse.
Big glides; the old MX 500 / 510 / 518 v1 glides (the number, size and shape) were so much better. Heavy as hell. : )
ye ye sure... who cares about cable protection? what are u doing with ur mouse to get this cable off? u have adhd or something?
edit: also if it will broke down logitech will send you new mouse and official apologies with 30% or more discount in their shop ;]
glides depends on mousepad
heavy? ... start eating more
-Who? Me. All of my newer MX cables damaged after 1,5-2 years, though I always fixate the cable itself and I'm not a ridiculously low sensitivity player and taking care of what is mine.
-Logitech's support is exceptional, kudos for that, but I'm not buying a mouse for free replacements, I'm buying it to last. MX 300 and MX 500 was a great example of this policy. Even the MX 510 lasted ~5 years, when a wire replacement become required. The downhill began with MX 310 and MX 518(especially v2).
-Not (just) mousepad, but the size and the placement of the glides itself. I'm saying this based on my experience (not just based on pure physics); I had nearly all of the major gaming mice and mousepad in the last ~8 years.
-Yeah, HEAVY, with capital letters... maybe you could heal my severe carpal tunnel syndrome. Thanks in advance.
Yeah, even after all they mice the released after the 518, the 518 kept being their best seller, so they had to make a proper successor to it :P My G400 had a problem with it, but I forgot to send it in as I kept using the 518 instead, but I had driver issues with it the last 3-4 years of using it (got it in 2006 I think), settings kept changing for no reason. Using the G502 now.
